A Swiss association for an open, neutral standard
RoboIns Association (Verein RoboIns) is a non-profit association under Art. 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code with its seat in Zug.
What the statutes say
The association develops and maintains an open parametric risk standard for autonomous systems, runs a neutral incident registry, certifies conformity with the standard and represents the field in dialogue with regulators, insurers and science.
RoboIns does not operate insurance business, does not collect premiums and does not manage third-party assets. Insurance products based on the standard are offered only by licensed insurers.
The statutes provide that the association grows into a Swiss foundation (Stiftung), so that the standard is held permanently for the public benefit.
